I'm trying and still learning write in English. So, if in the midst of my writing you find something disturb you or make you nod your head, just please apologize me :) I will never know my English writing skill until trying it.
Here, I will tell you several of my walkpacking experiences. I will write them just like flash back and brief stories, so here we go...
I started seriously (?) walking when I had just been in junior high school. At that time, I had to walk about more than 1 km from home to my school, SMPN 1 Selong. Actually, my older brothers can deliver me by motorcycle, but yeah...my relation with them was just like ice. Frozen. I also wanted to prove that I was enough independent to go to school by myself. Though, when I arrived at home in the daylight's end (I school at noon), I used to have dinner first and got sleep.
I did this more than one year. Yet, it was not fully like that. Sometimes, if I felt I would be late, I asked my big bro to deliver me. Hehe...
Second, I did serious walkpacking when I have just accepted to study in Malang, a cool city in East Java. I didn't bring my motorcycle from Lombok. It caused by so many consideration. One of them was because I was newbie in Malang. I still did not know many aspects about Malang. So, it made me take decision to stay near from my small campus in Jalan Pekalongan Dalam. So, I just need 5-7 minutes to walk there.
*well, I have to skip my note because the library keeper command me to stop netting* hehehe
Alright, after many hours I have been hibernating myself at my private room, now I would like to continue this note.
During I had been in Malang, I used to go everywhere on foot. But, if the destination is far enough, I used public transportation which called "LYN". While, for some of my favorite place, such as Malang Town Square, Brawijaya University (just looked around there), or my very lovely book store: Togamas in Dieng, I used to walk. Not only to save my money that I used to buy food or books, but also I wanted to enjoy my journey. It surely could erased my crowded mind which fulled by courses at my campus.
Yeah, I think my experience in walking when I was in Malang was not as interesting as in Surabaya. Why?
I will tell it in another time.
So, I'm leaving now.
Thanks for reading.
I'm happy if you're not mind to leave comments here.... :)
